Description

Humulin 70 / 30 is a combination insulin that is an intermediate-dominant / short-acting insulin designed for people who have more of a need for blood sugar control between meals as compared to suppressing blood sugar spikes after meals. Regular insulin is absorbed more quickly to control blood sugar during and after meals while the intermediate-acting Insulin Isophane lasts longer in the body for optimized between-meal blood sugar control. This insulin starts to work within 10 to 20 minutes after injection, peaks in 2 hours, and keeps working for up to 24 hours.
